Noel and New Year Festival in Ha Giang

Hoang Su Phi is a natural area of local communities living out of any modernism and off the beaten track.

This special Christmas/New Year program gives a full of discovery and emotion, and aims to bring you closer to the local ethnic groups who you will enjoy a meal with or participate in the picking and drying of tea together with an exceptional immersion in their daily lives.

Trek or traveling on motorbike in the middle of the most beautiful terrace rice fields in the Ha Giang which will enhance the meeting and exchanges.

Day 1 (23.12 or 30.12): Hanoi - Hoang Su Phi Lodge (L.D)

Be welcomed and picked up around 8:00 am at your hotel in Hanoi and then depart by private car to Hoang Su Phi Lodge. Stop on the way for relaxing and lunch.

Afterwards, continue to Hoang Su Phi Lodge which is located in Nam Hong CBT village located on the mountain. Arrive at Hoang Su Phi Lodge, check in a private bungalow with a large balcony offering magnificent views of the swimming pool, valleys, mountains and terraced rice fields. Then, take your free time to walk around the village – land of the Red Daos ethnic groups for the discovery of their daily life or just relax at the swimming pool or bar. Enjoy dinner and overnight at Hoang Su Phi Lodge.

Day 2 (24.12 or 31.12): Hoang Su Phi Lodge - Hiking (B.L.D)

After breakfast, around 8:30 am, start your trek through small mountain paths going up and down with beautiful rice terraces. We then reach the Nam Khoa village – inhabited by the Red Daos. Have lunch at a local homestay where you will meet the host and explore their culture.

We then continue trekking through wonderful landscapes classified as national natural heritage. Arrive at Hoang Su Phi Lodge around 4:00 p.m. Enjoy the massage and the medicinal herbal bath of the red Daos to refresh your body after a hard day of trekking. In the evening, participate the Christmas/New Year Eve party while tasting delicious food from the region and overnight at Hoang Su Phi Lodge.

Christmas/New Year Eve’s menu: roasted pork, grilled chicken, French fries, grilled fish, sweet sour pork ribs, papaya salads, seasonal vegetables, fresh fruits and champagne

Day 3 (25.12 or 01.01): Tea-making exploration tour - Hanoi (B.L)

We leave our lodge in the morning and take the motorcycle ride with the locals to discover other beautiful and unknown corners in this beautiful region including Ta Su Choong, Hoa Seo Phi... then explore the steps of tea making including technique of picking and drying the Shan Tuyet tea which is an well-known organic tea in Vietnam followed by a lunch at a local house and tea tasting. After that, drive back to Hanoi via Tuyen Quang. Arrive in Hanoi in the late afternoon. End of our services.
